The club provides qualified coaching for members and guests of any standard and supports coaches who wish to develop and improve their skills. The club has a number of England Squash and Racketball qualified coaches. One-to-one coaching or group sessions are available for beginners, intermediates and more advanced players.
Individual sessions – 40 mins / Paired sessions – 1 hour
England Squash Level 2 Qualified. Nick is a dedicated and friendly squash player and coach and is currently ranked in the world top 200 squash players on the Professional Squash Association circuit.
England Squash Level 3 Qualified. Jake is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable squash player and coach with a degree in Sport Development and Coaching from Sheffield Hallam University. Jake is also available for individual movement and fitness sessions.
Our coaching policy
All coaches working at Bishop’s Stortford Squash and Racketball Club are required to hold adequate Public Liability Insurance, a recent Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check – and a minimum of an England Squash Level 2 qualification to coach alone. The Club Manager oversees all coaching at the club and is responsible for working with all coaches to ensure they adhere to the club’s Code of Conduct for Coaches.
We currently offer a one off ‘Trial period’ of 4 months. If for any reason you join and then find that you are not benefitting from your membership, you may cancel at any time.
